Sweet little Thank you card

I have to admit, when people talk about their in-laws and how horrible they are, or how they're so annoying, or do this and that, all I can do is smile! I have the best in-laws! Granted, I was around them for 7 years before the hubs and I tied the knot, but they've never treated me any different! They have always treated me like their own daughter, from the day I met them!

My Mother-in-law gave me a few new cartridges and some Martha Stewart punches this weekend for a few projects I wanted to work on. Hubster told me that they also gave us a wonderful gift for our vacation/anniversary trip that we are going on next weekend! I decided to make a thank you card for them to show our appreciation for the amazing gift, the cartridges, and just in general, because they are awesome parents and in-laws!

I wanted to add a little something on the inside that coordinated with the outside, but didn't actually match. I love the little blue gem eye on the bird! I think he's a favorite!

I am so very blessed and thankful to have such wonderful in-laws! Be thankful for every and anything that God blesses us with!

Lovin' on the Hubs

A look, a smile, a kiss, was all it took for me to know. My hubs is a wonderful man; I am so proud of him and so very blessed to call him my husband! After dating for 6 years, being engaged for 1 year, we said "I Do" in December 2011 - woah! almost a year ago!! Time really does fly, doesn't it?!? We had an amazing wedding - full of family, fun and loads of laughter!

Anywho... I made this little gem after we were married.

I have to still get a frame for it, but since we can't hang anything in our apartment, it's not a huge rush. This was made with our wedding colors, red, white and black. This was actually the first project I made with my Cricut machine!

Little Thanks for a New Little One

Happy Fabulous Monday y'all! One of my sisters will be welcoming in her baby into the world in the next week, so I thought it would be appropriate to start off my blog with the Thank You cards I made for my sister's baby shower.

My new niece will be named Azyah Mahlaynah and she will be the youngest princess in the family. I will now have a 7 yr old niece, Athena, a 5 yr old nephew, Aeson, and 3 yr old nephew, Ariak, and Miss Azyah! Whew! Talk about loads of little ones!!

The baby shower was a hit, sadly I had to work and couldn't make the three hour trip home, but everyone loved the decorations! Here is the inside of the thank you cards

You can see where my sis wrote in her thank you, I forgot to take a picture of it before I sent them out while it was blank. Oops. Live & Learn :)

These cards were my first "bulk" set of cards, or really anything, that I made, and though they probably could have been better, I am pretty proud of them!

Update: Azyah Mahlaynah was born on 9/20 at 6:05pm.
